Putters Edge was thrilled to be a part of the NBA 2009 All-Star Game festivities in Phoenix, Arizona this year. Our local Valley of the Sun dealer, Monte Wagner of Putters Edge of Arizona, designed and constructed a customized putting green to ESPN's specifications using our top of the line PAR Turf Country Club edition synthetic turf.

A number of famous atheletes and celebrities were interviewed by well-known ESPN personality Stuart Scott and then took their turns trying to sink a putt on the mini-golf styled putting green.

The 2009 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game itself was a huge success, with such names as Terrell Owens of the Dallas Cowboys, and "Special K" Daley of the Harlem Globetrotters stealing the show. In a fun game for NBA fans to casually watch, the score was still very close until the very last posessions.
